Unity newbie here.
Unity used to work just fine. I'd open a new project and there would be no errors.
Now, no matter what I do, all of my projects are inundated with hundreds of errors, and I don't know how to fix it. I've deleted and re-installed Unity. I've created fresh projects. Nothing helps.
Most of the errors are something like "Read only asset Packages/com.unity.........has no meta file.
I have recently started downloading things from the Asset Store, but I don't move the folders around or anything. I just hit the download button and let it do its thing.
How do I fix this?
